Senior Supply Planner
Location: Onsite - Los Angeles, CA
Compensation: $110,000– $120,000 annually (depending on experience)
About the Role
SprintRay is seeking a Senior Supply Planner to translate demand forecasts into actionable production, procurement and replenishment plans across our global manufacturing and distribution network. This role will own the end-to-end supply plan for printers, resins, consumables and spare parts, balancing customer availability, inventory investment, manufacturing capacity and product shelf life. The ideal candidate combines hands-on ERP/MRP planning with analytical judgment and strong cross-functional communication.
Key Responsibilities
Own and maintain a rolling 18-month supply plan across four global manufacturing facilities, translating consensus demand forecasts into purchase and production requirements.
Execute MRP planning, review and release planned orders, and maintain accurate lead times, minimum order quantities, reorder points, lot sizes and safety stock parameters.
Build capacity plans with internal and contract manufacturers; identify constraints, assess trade-offs and recommend recovery actions.
Partner with Procurement to secure raw materials, resin components and other long-lead-time supplies, and address supplier capacity or allocation risks.
Set SKU- and location-level inventory targets using ABC/XYZ segmentation and service-level, working-capital and shelf-life considerations.
Monitor excess, obsolete and expiring inventory; coordinate disposition plans and support FEFO and lot-control practices.
Plan replenishment across U.S. and international warehouses and distribution partners.
Lead the supply review in the monthly sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, presenting constrained plans, gaps, risks and recommendations to leadership.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering on new product introductions, end-of-life transitions and engineering changes.
Partner with Finance on inventory budgets, purchase commitments and forecast-to-actual variances.
Own supply planning KPIs, dashboards and scenario analyses; drive improvements in processes, data quality, systems and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of supply planning, materials planning or inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ownership of a complex, multi-SKU supply plan involving both manufactured and purchased items.
Hands-on experience with MRP in an ERP platform such as Odoo, SAP, NetSuite or Oracle.
Experience leading or presenting the supply portion of an S&OP process.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and strong knowledge of safety stock, EOQ, service-level trade-offs and ABC/XYZ segmentation.
Ability to turn complex planning data into clear recommendations for cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in medical device, dental or FDA-regulated manufacturing, including ISO 13485, traceability or shelf-life controls.
Planning experience across chemical or consumable products and capital equipment.
Experience with Odoo MRP/Inventory, contract manufacturers and international suppliers, including Asia-based supply.
Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau or Python; APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification.
Experience building scalable planning processes in a high-growth environment.
