Location: Los Angeles, Onsite
Compensation: $160,00 – $180,000 annually (depending on experience)
About the Role
The IT Manager leads and oversees the organization's information technology department, with a strong focus on enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, SAP or Oracle ERP data migration programs, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations. This role manages a team of IT professionals — including ERP specialists, data migration specialists, and support staff — sets the strategic technical direction for enterprise systems modernization (including SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) migration and transformation initiatives), and ensures all systems and platforms align with business objectives and organizational standards. The IT Manager serves as the primary escalation point for complex technical and data migration issues and partners with executive leadership to drive technology-enabled business outcomes. Hands-on SAP or Oracle ERP experience is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and develop the IT team, including hiring, performance reviews, mentoring, and professional development of IT engineers, ERP specialists, and support staff
Define and execute the IT and enterprise systems strategy and roadmap in alignment with organizational goals, including SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) migration and transformation initiatives (greenfield, brownfield, or selective data transition), ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business value
Architect and govern data migration methodology, tooling selection, and governance frameworks across large-scale, multi-wave migration programs, including the design of migration objects, business rules, transformation logic, and cutover sequencing across functional domains (finance, procurement, supply chain/inventory, sales, manufacturing, HCM, or equivalent)
Oversee and manage all installed systems, infrastructure, and platforms — including the SAP or Oracle ERP environment — to ensure compliance with company guidelines, SOPs, and industry best practices
Own the organization's cybersecurity posture, including policy development, risk assessments, incident response planning, and security awareness training across all connected systems
Establish and manage IT budgets, including forecasting for hardware, software, ERP licensing, and vendor contracts; track expenditures and optimize costs
Evaluate, select, and implement new technologies, tools, and platforms — including SAP-native or Oracle-native and third-party data migration tooling (e.g., SAP LTMC/LTMOM, SAP BODS, SAP SLT; or Oracle FBDI, ADFdi, OIC, GoldenGate; Syniti, or equivalent); lead vendor negotiations and manage third-party relationships
Ensure the highest levels of system and infrastructure availability through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and disaster recovery/business continuity strategies
Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks covering data management, master data governance, access controls, change management, and compliance requirements
Plan, prioritize, and oversee system automation initiatives, migration rehearsals, mock cutovers, and go-live execution to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and scale IT capabilities
Serve as the senior escalation point for complex systems troubleshooting, ERP integration issues, performance optimization, and cross-functional technical issues
Collaborate with department heads, executive leadership, data owners, functional leads, and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality IT and migration deliverables within organizational guidelines, policies, and timelines
Manage IT and ERP project portfolios, including resource allocation, risk management, process optimization, and delivery of initiatives on time and within budget
Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on IT performance metrics, security posture, migration/project status, and strategic recommendations
Required Qualifications
Required: Hands-on experience implementing, administering, or migrating a major ERP platform — SAP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) or Oracle ERP (Oracle Cloud ERP/Fusion or Oracle E-Business Suite). Candidates without direct SAP or Oracle ERP experience will not be considered.
8+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, and technical leadership, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field required; Master's degree or MBA preferred

Proven experience leading or architecting end-to-end ERP data migration implementations, including at least one SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Cloud ERP migration (greenfield or brownfield/system conversion)
Working knowledge of SAP-native or Oracle-native data migration tooling (e.g., SAP LTMC/LTMOM, SAP BODS, SAP SLT; or Oracle FBDI, ADFdi, OIC/SOA, GoldenGate; Syniti, or equivalent platforms)
Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing IT teams; strong coaching and mentoring skills
Experience developing and managing IT budgets, vendor contracts, and technology roadmaps
Strong project management skills, including migration cutover and go-live planning, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with keen attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the 3D printing, dental technology, or medical device industry
