Product Support Engineer (Level 2)
Location: Los Angeles
Compensation: $85,000 – $95,000 annually (depending on experience)
About the Role
As a Product Support Engineer on SprintRay’s Product Care team, you’ll play a key role in improving the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our products and operations. This is a mid-level, hands-on engineering role designed for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, grow, and make an impact. You’ll work across hardware, software, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive process improvements, analyze product performance, and help shape future product designs for serviceability and long-term reliability.
This position is ideal for a mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineer with strong problem-solving skills who wants exposure to product lifecycle engineering, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead process optimization projects across domestic and global operations to improve efficiency and reliability
- Troubleshoot and document root cause and failure modes for hardware and electromechanical systems
- Develop and standardize procedures, best practices, and SOPs in collaboration with R&D, Product, and Quality teams
- Partner with R&D to ensure new designs are reliable and easy to service
- Maintain and enhance data systems, automation tools, and reporting dashboards (Power BI, PowerApps, etc.)
Collect and analyze data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions - Support integration of AI and automation into repair and reliability processes
- Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to cross-functional team members and leadership
- Provide leadership coverage when management is unavailable
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
- 1–3 years of experience in engineering roles (process improvement, product support, reliability, or manufacturing engineering preferred)
- Familiarity with failure analysis, troubleshooting, and process optimization of electromechanical products
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, industrial engineering, or systems engineering methods
- Experience with data analysis and visualization (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools)
